Maintenance
This
wind harp is fabricated out of Aluminum with a powder coated baked
on finish. This powder coated finish is very durable in most weather
conditions and is very
low maintenance. To
clean the wind harp simply use a damp cloth or wipe down with Windex
to remove water stains
The
base is powder coated steel and can also be cleaned with Windex.
The
life span of the nylon strings is approximately 2-3 years depending
on the exposure to direct sunlight
The
nylon strings will eventually become brittle and break under tension
at which time you can follow the instructions to replace the
strings.
The
titanium strings should last indefinitely as long as they are not
over tensioned

Refund
Policy
Soundscapes
International Inc. will accept returns under our return policy for
clients who notify Wellness Goods first, receiving an Return
Authorization, and return merchandise in perfect condition, shipping
prepaid & insured within 10 business days of delivery to the
customer.
A
15% restocking/return fee will be deducted from the
refund.
If
customer returns wind harp in damaged condition we will not accept
the return for a refund.
Materials
& Techniques
The materials chosen for the Soundscapes musical sculptures and
windharps are intended to be exposed to the outdoor elements,
including sun, rain, snow and, of course, wind. Our instruments have
their main components, made from titanium, steel, copper or bronze,
depending on the design. These metals either finished with a baked,
powder-coat finish, or are left untreated to allow the metals to
develop their own natural weathered patina.
The strings are made of titanium, nylon, or a mix of both, depending
on the size of the Harp. The nylon strings have a life-span of 2-3
years, while the highly stable titanium strings are impervious to
weather. The tuning pins are made of stainless steel.
The strings on the wind harp are tuned to the pentatonic, 5 note
scale, commonly heard in oriental music. Harmonics produced by the
wind harps are long tones, that stimulate deep levels of relaxation,
and subtly expand our band of conscious awareness.
Each sculpture comes with a full maintenance manual.
