 As
a parent, teacher and therapist,
I have grown increasingly aware of
the importance of teaching clear, constructive and conscious language
skills.
It makes me sad and mad that in our everyday world we are so
often filled
with negativity, violence and greed.
Being literally
programmed with what
we don’t want is easy, just watch or
read the news or enter most any
schoolyard and see the signs, no
drugs and no guns! It's
no wonder many
children's first majorly exercised word is no! The rules
are full of no, don't and you will not or you should not. Enough of this,
you already realize the problem I'm sure!
Every good therapist knows that focusing on what you do want
is absolutely necessary in order to become clear enough to
create it.
This focus on positive principles has become a strong passion for
me with both adults and children. One day as I was contemplating how
different my life might have been if I had been taught the use of
positive, clear and empowering language as a child, I felt inspired and
guided by a brilliant idea of how to bring this powerful teaching to
children and make it as fun as possible!
My new idea was a perfect fit, since I already totally love my
work as a palmistry and handwriting expert offering my services as an
entertainer for private and corporate venues as Mystical Entertainment. I
decided to create a
Birthday Angel
Program, bringing positive values, constructive, empowering language,
music, magic and fun into the world of family enjoyment!
With my spiritual guidance celebrating in my heart and head I
felt joyfully focused and moved full speed ahead and in 3 days I had my
program laid out. Each child or birthday party member receives two
empowering language cards (gift cards) and I read the cards they have
magically selected with the group out-loud, so they can experience the
same language many times, yet with a different gift word. Later they get
to share one with a friend and by exchanging cards they may realize that
everyone wins by sharing! No competitive games here, just sharing what
greatness they have already received! These gift words represent simple
positive, spiritual values such as; love; play; adventure; courage; music;
beauty; brilliance; peace; playfulness and a host of others! Each family
member gets to keep their cards as a gift from the Birthday Angel too!
I am so excited about this simple way to assist children in
focusing on what they do want, honoring them and their wonderful qualities
and teaching empowering language through example. I gratefully offer this
sample below to you! The underlined word (gift or spiritual value) is
variable on each card as mentioned above. (Please make this fun and read
it out-loud with joy! I dare you !

I believe the use of empowering language works like magic for

to be timeless, universal statements of truth.

I encourage you to practice using empowering language for
yourself and sharing it with others. I wish I had the time and space to
share with you how much fun being the Birthday Angel is for me! Every time
a child's face lights up as they smile or a parent calls me the next day
to thank me again, I am filled with enough love to burst my buttons! It is
with profound gratitude, for the many ways that using these simple and
powerful suggestions for empowering language has transformed my life, that
I offer them to you.
