Pilot testing with the Heart Gems formula has shown a 25% lowering of homocysteine taking one capsule with each meal (3 per day) for 3 weeks. Three capsules with each meal (9 per day) have shown a 35% decrease and 6 capsules per meal (18 per day) a highly significant 45% reduction in homocysteine levels in less than two months.

SAMe is a safe, powerful, rapid acting antidepressant. SAMe rebuilds joints and relieves joint pains and fibromyalgia symptoms. She switched from four SAMe tablets to three Heart Gems (providing 1000mg of TMG) and in one month her SAMe had increased markedly to 6.8, a high normal reading. On just under $1.00 of Heart Gems compared to $4.00 daily of SAMe, the lower cost safer Heart Gems gave a 40% higher blood SAMe level.

Although the SAMe had helped relieve her knee pain, within three days of Heart Gems the pain had decreased to the best degree in over one year since her knee injury. She is now nearly pain free.

It is suggested that one capsule three times per day be taken for the first month. The components of the formula are very safe. TMG has no side effects except for brief tension headaches if large quantities are taken on an empty stomach. Choline may occasionally deepen the depressive phase of manic-depressive illness. Todd Ovokaitys, M.D.

Dr. Todd, as he is called, realized at an early age that someday his interests in genetics, lasers, and traditional and alternative medicine would somehow combine in a synergistic explosion of new technology. Acting upon his passion for these pursuits, he became a pre-medical student at Northwestern University where his brilliance quickly took him to number one in his class. He was also elected to Phi Beta Kappa at Johns Hopkins University. 

Following his residency, Dr. Todd was chosen for a Fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the Georgetown University Hospital.
