I smiled in surprise at her astute and intuitive perception as a moment of peace-filled silence hung in the air. She said she was Moayna and invited me to share her jug of tea. Interestingly, she had two blue plastic glasses and somehow served me in a very elegant and grateful manner. As she served me, I felt myself struggling to find the words to ask her how she knew that I was praying, when she looked at me rather sharply as if to interject and spoke. "I sense that you are a very good and wise person, I like you. I am sure you are good at many things besides being funny!" I was touched by the sincerity of her face and then laughed so hard I sprayed some tea and then and managed to say Thank you!

Although I was very familiar with profound synchronicity and intuition in my life, I still found myself speechless at the kindness of her words as she continued. " I feel I am here to share with you my greatest secret and I somehow feel that you are ready to receive it."

She removed her sharp gaze as if to give me a moment to assimilate her words and humbly looked down at the Earth in silence and breathed deeply a few times before continuing. 

"My secret is considered by some to be the most powerful and simple technique in the world. It is an ancient secret, which has been given to humanity from many cultures and in many forms. As you share this energy you become attuned to the Divine or Spiritual Power within yourself and your world. Your loving use of this incredible Power is the secret for attaining health, happiness, prosperity, peace and success! The way you can tune into this Power and have it work for you is so simple ~                       

THE SECRET IS THIS :

Bless everyone and everything that

represents what you want to create!

That's the simple truth of it!  

To bless something or someone means to give recognition or emphasis to a positive quality, characteristic or condition, with the intention that what you recognize or emphasize will increase, continue or come into being. What I find so beautiful about this process is that the blessing you do for others assists them as well as you! Everyone wins and the universe dances! Iris, you are actually quite good at blessing and I hope to inspire you to get even better with this teaching, so please listen closely. I was all ears and feeling very excited to share more!

As you know, blessing may be done with imagery or touch. Perhaps the most common and easy way to do it is with words. The main kinds of blessings with words are:

ADMIRATION~ this is the offering of compliments or praise to something good that you notice, like, "What a beautiful sunset; I like that dress; you're so much fun."

AFFIRMATION~ this is a specific statement of blessing for increase or endurance, like, "I bless the beauty of this tree; blessed be the health of your body; I am grateful to share small acts of kindness today."

APPRECIATION~ this is an expression of gratitude that something good exists or has happened, like, "Thank you, Great Spirit for hearing me; I give thanks to the rain for nourishing the land."

ANTICIPATION~ this is blessing for the future, like, "We're going to have a great picnic; I bless your increased crop and income; Thank you for introducing my perfect mate; I wish you a happy journey; May the wind be always at your back."

In order to gain the most benefit from blessing, you will have to give up or cut way down on the thing that negates it: Cursing.

This doesn’t mean swearing or saying bad words.

It refers to the opposite of blessing, namely criticizing instead of admiring; doubting instead of affirming; blaming instead of appreciating; and worrying instead of anticipating with trust.

She allowed a long pause as I felt the truth of what she had said. As my mind glanced at my blessing and cursing tendencies she continued.

"Whenever any of these negative things are done they cancel out some of the effects of your blessing. So the more you curse the harder it will be and the longer it will take to get the good from blessing. On the other hand, the more you bless the less harm any cursing will do.  

Here are some ideas and personal examples for blessing various common needs, desires or choices:

HEALTH~ Bless healthy people, animals and even plants; everything that is well constructed; everything that expresses abundant energy.

HAPPINESS~ Bless all that is good, or the good in all people and all things; all the signs of happiness that you see, hear or feel in people or animals.

PROSPERITY~ Bless all the signs of prosperity in your environment, including everything that money helped to make or do; all the money you have in any form; all the money that circulates in the world.

SUCCESS~ Bless all signs of achievement and completion (such as buildings, bridges and events); all arrivals at destinations (of ships, planes, trains, cars and people); all signs of forward movement or persistence; all signs of enjoyment and fun. Bless all successful departures and changes. Bless all aspects of your success!

CONFIDENCE ~ Bless all signs of healthy confidence in people and animals; all signs of strength in people, animals, and objects (including steel, stone or concrete); all signs of stability (like mountains and tall trees); all signs of purposeful power, including power lines, big machines and rivers.

LOVE AND FRIENDSHIP~ Bless all signs of caring and nurturing, compassion and support; all harmonious relationships in nature and architecture; all signs of cooperation, as in work, games or brainstorming; all signs of laughter, fun and play.

INNER PEACE~ Bless all signs of quietness, calmness, tranquility and serenity (like quiet water or still air); all distant views (horizons, stars, sun and moon); all signs of beauty in sight, sound or touch

SPIRITUAL GROWTH~ Bless all signs of growth, development and change in nature; the transitions of dawn and twilight; the movement of sun, moon, planets and stars; the flight of birds in the sky; and the movement of wind, trees and the ocean.

" Iris, these ideas are suggestions to encourage your guidance to make you more proficient with blessing. I wish to encourage you Iris, to continue to create more fully and enhance your ability to bless and claim the riches for your own! Remember now, that any quality, characteristic or condition can be blessed. You bless the best in everything, whether it has existed in the past, presently exists now or exists so far only in your imagination!"

Now I will share with you several timeless, universal statements of truth, which reflect the power behind blessing." I was enchanted by Moayna's insights and ready to hear this ancient truth as she continued to present it, her voice grew very strong and clear :

                       Now is the moment of power.

·                                Energy flows where your attention goes.

·                                The world is what you think it is.

·                                There are no limits.

·                                All power comes from within.

·                                Happiness is wanting what you already have.

·                                Effectiveness is the measure of truth.                                          

We sat in silence awhile then she hugged me strongly, feeling like the grandmother of the Universe and blessed me on my way and slowly walked off into the sunset. Really? Yes, Really!

I must say that I will always cherish this experience and that I have honestly used the power of blessing to heal my body, increase my income and gifts, developed many skills, deeply loving relationships, establish a wide network of peacemakers and more!
